Is the security of Internet Banking eroding its convenience?
When spruiking the benefits of Internet Banking (IB), banks highlight the convenience of IB, specifically the ability for customers to take control over their banking and conduct transactions when and where it suits them. However, with identity fraud and security breaches on the increase, banks mitigate this increased level of risk with the introduction of additional security measures which is laudable but unfortunately can erode the convenience of Internet Banking. UsabilityOne attends industry events
UsabilityOne has been attending a number of industry events around Melbourne. Here is a quick overview and the key points we found interesting:
  UX Australia - We attended the conference in late August and returned to work energised and excited both about our industry and more importantly UsabilityOne.  It renewed our focus on our clients and ways to better meet their needs.  See Johnny Holland for a good review of the conference:

Adoption Plans for Online Advertising & E-tailing - An interesting presentation by AIMIA Retail Industry Group highlighted that Australian retailers are dragging their feet in the world of e-tailing.

Don't forget World Usability Day on November 11th. World Usability Day is all about making our world work better by ensuring services and products important to human life are easier to access and simpler to use. It's about "making life easy".
